Lebanese Song Print - “Ya Tayr”, A Fairouz Poster About Love, Distance & Home

Two chairs. One cup of coffee. One scarf. And a letter waiting to cross the sea.

Inspired by the timeless Fairouz song “Ya Tayr,” this original sketch tells a story about love, migration, and the quiet ache of being away from Lebanon.

On a Lebanese balcony overlooking the Mediterranean at sunset, two chairs and a small table sit exactly as if two people had just been there. Perhaps they once shared this moment every day: coffee, conversation, and the sea in front of them.

But now, both chairs are empty.

One has a cup of hot coffee, with steam still rising from it, as if someone is waiting. On the other lies a piece of scarf belonging to the person who left Lebanon for a better future.

On the table is a letter carrying the words “Ya Tayr”, a message from the person who stayed behind, hoping a bird could carry it across the distance to the one they love.

A story that speaks to the Lebanese diaspora: This is more than a music poster. It is about the small things that become precious when we leave home: the chair we used to sit on, the coffee we shared, the balcony we looked from, and the person who is no longer beside us.

For many Lebanese living abroad, the two empty chairs can represent a familiar reality. One person leaves, another remains, and life continues, but the memories of those simple moments stay exactly where they were.

The bird in the story becomes more than a messenger. It carries the words that distance makes difficult to say: I remember you. I remember home. I am still waiting.

Who is this poster for? This Fairouz poster is especially meaningful for Lebanese people living abroad, Fairouz lovers, and anyone who has experienced migration or separation from someone they love.

It can also be a thoughtful gift for a parent, sibling, partner, friend, or loved one who left Lebanon for work, studies, family, or a new life abroad.

For someone who collects posters of musicians, this piece offers something more personal than a portrait. It transforms a beloved song into a visual memory.

Where could you hang it? This Lebanese song poster would fit beautifully above a coffee table, beside a bookshelf, or in a cozy living room. It could also become part of a bedroom, reading corner, or wall art for music room.

Surrounded by other Lebanese music, photographs, or souvenirs from home, it can create a small Lebanese corner wherever you live.

For anyone searching for music wall art, music prints, a music artist poster, or meaningful music themed wall art, this artwork carries a story that goes beyond decoration.

“Ya Tayr” is not only a song about sending a message far away. In this sketch, the bird carries something deeper: the memories of two people, one Lebanese balcony, and a home that distance could never make them forget.
